Fortified  French Toasts

I don't know anyone who doesn't like having a good crispy french toast! It has been raining constantly for 3 days now and you can feel the chill in the air. So I didn't have to think too much about what to make for breakfast today. French Toast! But I wanted to add a little something to them. To sort of fortify them. I thought of using what was available in the kitchen.
And this is the end result!

I kept in my mind everyone in the family. Sesame seed french toast for my dad who is in his mid 50s and is hypertensive and has a family history of heart diseases because sesame seeds are known to reduce cholesterol and prevent high blood pressure, are good for bone and respiratory health, among many other benefits.
Raisins embedded french toasts for my husband because he loves raisins!

In case you do not know how to make french toasts (don't tell me) then the simplest way is to remember this formula; 1 egg, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tbsp milk and 1 toast. A lot of people like soft french toasts and add a lot of milk but I like them crispy and at times do not use milk at all!

While the seeds can be sprinkled on the wet side of the french toasts while being cooked. Raisins can however be pressed a little into the toast while cooking.

My mother is post menopausal so I made flax seeds enriched french toast for her because they are a great source of estrogen!

And finally fennel seeds sprinkled french toast for my daughter because she is crazy about them and they are great for relieving stomach and intestinal spasm and great for mild swelling and inflammation of respiratory tract and thus help in seasonal infections and allergies.

I hope you will make these and enjoy them as much as we did!
